Job summary

The Crossing at Covington Commons is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging recreational programs for residents. You will help assess resident interests, organize activities, and ensure activities run smoothly in a caring senior living environment.

We value a passion for seniors, energetic and professional behavior, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• A fire and passion for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
• Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Activities Certification preferred.
• One year of experience conducting activities within the past five years preferred.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activities Director in assessing, selecting, organizing, and implementing activities to address residents' needs and interests.
• Support residents’ recreation programs and ensure safe, engaging experiences.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Activities Assistant, you will provide assistance to the Activities Director in the assessment, selection, organization, and implementation of activities and recreational services to address the individual needs and interests of the residents.
