Westview of Derby Rehabilitation and Health Care Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in planning and delivering activities and recreational services for residents. You will help assess resident interests and coordinate engaging programs to meet individual needs.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
• Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred.
• Activities Certification preferred.
• One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior; excellent written and oral communication skills.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Activities Assistant, you will provide assistance to the Activities Director in the assessment, selection, organization, and implementation of activities and recreational services to address the individual needs and interests of the residents.
