Oakley Courts in Illinois is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals. You will support the Activities Director with assessments, planning, and implementation of activities to address the individual needs and interests of residents.

The role requires energy, creativity, reliability, and strong communication; schedule includes 1pm-7:30pm Mon/Wed/Thu and alternating weekends (9am-4pm).

Qualifications

• Passion for working with seniors.
• Flexible, fun, and energetic personality.
• Experience as an Activities Assistant in LTC/SNF/AL/MC preferred.
• Activities Certification preferred.
• One year of activity/recreational services experience preferred.
• Professional image in appearance and behavior.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Activities Assistant

Oakley Courts is looking for an activity assistant to join our team of dedicated professionals.

We are seeking an outgoing, creative person to work Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 1pm-7:30pm and every other weekend from 9am-4pm.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Activities Assistant, you will provide assistance to the Activities Director in the assessment, selection, organization, and implementation of activities and recreational services to address the individual needs and interests of the residents.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Activities Certification preferred
• One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
