Job summary

Buckingham Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing is seeking a Full Time Activities Assistant. This role includes some weekend requirements and offers up to $17 per hour to support resident engagement. You will facilitate group activities, assist with 1-on-1 activities, transport residents to events, and help keep supplies organized. Qualifications

• Experience in activities coordination or elder care preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group activities inside the facility.
• Encourage activity involvement and chart attendance.
• Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized.
• Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities.
• Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties.

Job description
