Job summary

Stone Rehab and Senior Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to support engaging recreational and therapeutic activities for residents. The role includes documenting participation and coordinating group events.

Responsibilities also include safely transporting residents to activities and appointments, with driving duties and transfers as needed. Minimum 1 year in care settings preferred; MA driver’s license required and DOT background check acceptable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year experience in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred.
• Moderate to advanced computer skills with MS Office (Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel).
• Must have a valid MA Driver's License and ability to pass a DOT background check.
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

Activities Assistant | Stone Rehab and Senior Living
$15.00 - $21.00/hour, based on experience
Full -Time | 11AM – 5:00PM, rotating weekends and holidays
Part-Time | 8:00AM – 4:30PM, rotating weekends and holidays

• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
• Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.

Qualifications for Success:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 1-year experience working in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
