Stone Rehab and Senior Living in Massachusetts seeks an Activities Assistant to facilitate engaging recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, documenting progress and supporting care goals. Both full-time and part-time roles are available with schedules including weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ year experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Publisher, Outlook, Excel).
• Valid MA driver's license; able to pass DOT background check.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Plan and facilitate engaging recreational and therapeutic activities aligned with resident needs and care goals.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Coordinate and supervise group activities, special events, and outings; ensure resident safety.
• Transport residents to activities and appointments using community vans; assist with transfers as needed.

Activities Assistant | Stone Rehab and Senior Living
$15.00 - $21.00/hour, based on experience
Full -Time | 11AM – 5:00PM, rotating weekends and holidays
Part-Time | 8:00AM – 4:30PM, rotating weekends and holidays

Delivering Solutions that Matter:

• Assist with providing engaging recreational and therapeutic activities that support residents' individual needs and care goals.
• Document participation and progress accurately.
• Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
• Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.

Qualifications for Success:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Minimum 1-year experience working in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred
• Moderate to advanced computer skills – specifically with MS Office including Work, Publisher, Outlook email, and Excel.
• Must have a valid MA Driver's License and the ability to pass a DOT background check
• Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written
