Job summary

Chelsea Jewish Life Communities is seeking an Activities Assistant for the Jeffrey & Susan Brudnick Center for Living. This part-time role runs Saturdays and Sundays, 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, with pay in the $19.00–$21.00/hr range based on experience.

Responsibilities include delivering engaging activities, documenting participation, coordinating events, and safely transporting residents as needed. A High School Diploma and 1 year of related care experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1-year experience in an Assisted Living or Long-Term care setting preferred.
  • Moderate to advanced computer skills – MS Office including Word, Publisher, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English – both verbally and written.

  • Document participation and progress accurately.
  • Assist with coordinating and supervising group activities, special events, concerts, and other activities, ensuring residents are safely escorted and actively engaged.
  • Safely transport residents to recreational outings and appointments by driving community vans and assisting with resident transfers as needed.
