Job summary

Arbor Terrace Lakeway is seeking an Activities Assistant to create engaging experiences for residents, promoting wellness and social connections within a compassionate team.

You will plan and lead activities, coordinate events, and maintain schedules, collaborating with staff and volunteers to tailor programs to residents' needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in activities coordination or related field preferred.
• Ability to work varying shifts including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., recreation therapy, gerontology) preferred


• Previous experience in activities coordination, recreation, or a related field, or equivalent education and training


• Ability to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
