Job summary

Watermark Retirement Communities in Laguna Niguel is seeking an Activities Coordinator to support senior residents with engaging programming that improves lives and wellbeing. You will collaborate with care teams to design and implement activities, fostering a vibrant community and safe, enjoyable experiences for residents.

Qualifications include 2 years’ experience in preparing and implementing activities, plus 2–4 years in resident programming; weekend and holiday availability is required.

Compensation

$22.00 - $23.00 per hour paid bi-weekly

Other Job Requirements:

• Physical & Work Environment: Must be able to stand, walk, sit, bend, reach, kneel, climb, and perform repetitive movements throughout the day. Regular interaction with residents, families, visitors, and team members in a fast-paced environment, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and emergency call-backs as needed.
• Lifting & Equipment Use: Must be able to frequently use computers, office equipment, and technology, assist with resident mobility when needed, and lift, carry, push, or move items up to 40 pounds regularly and over 40 pounds occasionally with assistance. May occasionally operate community vehicles.
