Job summary

Parkview Estates in Kennewick, Washington, is seeking a compassionate Activities Assistant to enrich residents' physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs. You will support the care team and families to help residents reach their highest potential.

Responsibilities include leading group and individual activities, following the monthly schedule, documenting observations, and attending care conferences.

Qualifications

• Must have Activities Experience in senior living.
• Ability to work independently and positively with others.
• Advocate for the senior population.

Must have Activities Experience in Senior Living Industry!

Thursday - Sunday 8 AM- 4:30 PM

As activities assistant, you provide and supervise enrichment opportunities to meet the physical, social, cultural, spiritual, emotional, and recreational needs of each patient/resident. You assist the care team and residents' families helping residents reach their highest potential.

You will:

• Provide resident activities on a group and individual basis
• Promote and follow the monthly schedule of activities
• Document medical records regarding residents' attitude, participation level, etc., and attend care conferences
• Report to the activities director

You currently:

• Work independently
• Relate positively and effectively with others
• Advocate for the senior population
• possess a valid driver's license and private vehicle
