Job summary

Medical Facilities Of America, Inc. is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan and coordinate resident engagement at our Maggie Valley facility. You will create and direct group activities and one-on-one sessions, and maintain attendance records to monitor participation.

You will also decorate spaces for holidays, tailor environments in designated rooms, and work with a team to ensure a safe, uplifting atmosphere for seniors in our care.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • General understanding of the needs of seniors.
  • Ability to work in an environment conducive to caring for residents without posing a safety or health threat.

Job description

Creating and Coordinating

  • Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
