RegalCare at Harwich is a short and long term care facility located in Harwich, MA. We are currently seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team! This is a part time position hourly Saturday, Sunday, and Monday.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team. The Activities Assistant will play a vital role in planning, organizing, and leading recreational and therapeutic activities for our residents. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of seniors while working in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing a diverse range of activities and programs designed to meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of our residents.
• Lead group activities such as games, arts and crafts, music therapy sessions, and exercise classes.
• Provide one-on-one support and encouragement to residents who may require additional assistance or accommodations.
• Maintain a safe and welcoming environment for all participants, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
• Collaborate with other staff members to develop and implement individualized care plans for residents.
• Document activity participation and resident progress as required.

Qualifications
