Job summary

Fitchburg Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Fitchburg, MA is seeking a dedicated Activities Assistant to support resident engagement. You will facilitate group activities, encourage participation, and help keep supplies organized in a warm, family-friendly environment.

The role requires a Diploma or GED, creativity, self-motivation, and flexibility with evenings, weekends, and holidays. Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia is a plus, and you will work closely with residents and the care team

Qualifications

• Diploma or GED required.
• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including some weekends/evenings/holidays.
• Ability to self-motivate.

• Facilitate group activities

• Assist in keeping activity supplies clean and organized
• Assist with 1 on 1 activities, transport residents to and from activities
• Assist with outings and special events and other assigned duties
