Tutera Senior Living & Health Care in Belton, MO is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging programs for residents. You will help assess needs, organize activities, and ensure services align with each resident’s interests and abilities.

The role requires a warm, energetic professional with a passion for seniors and strong communication skills; prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience and certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated passion for serving seniors.
• Flexible, energetic, and positive personality.
• Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in LTC/SNF/AL/MC preferred.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Activities Assistant, you will provide assistance to the Activities Director in the assessment, selection, organization, and implementation of activities and recreational services to address the individual needs and interests of the residents.

• A fire and passion for working with seniors


• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality


• Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred


• Activities Certification preferred


• One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred


• Professional image in both appearance and behavior


• Excellent written and oral communication skills
