Job summary

Marigold Rehab and Healthcare Center is seeking an Activities Assistant to support the Activities Director in planning and delivering engaging programs for residents. You will help assess interests, organize events, and implement recreational services to enhance quality of life.

The role emphasizes compassionate, energetic service, strong communication, and teamwork within a friendly, patient-centered facility. Prior LTC/SNF/AL/MC experience and an activities certification are preferred.

What Will You Do in This Role?

As an Activities Assistant, you will provide assistance to the Activities Director in the assessment, selection, organization, and implementation of activities and recreational services to address the individual needs and interests of the residents.

Do You Have What It Takes?

• A fire and passion for working with seniors
• A flexible, fun, and energetic personality
• Prior experience as an Activities Assistant in a LTC/SNF/AL/MC setting preferred
• Activities Certification preferred
• One year of experience conducting activities and recreational services within the past five years preferred
• Professional image in both appearance and behavior
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
