Job summary

Complete Care at Heritage in Baltimore, MD is hiring an Activities Assistant for a full-time day shift. This position requires every 3rd weekend work and starts at $16/hr.

You will support residents with scheduled programs and assist during activities to promote wellness and engagement. Responsibilities include monitoring resident participation, maintaining attendance calendars, helping prepare holiday decorations, and performing duties as directed by the Director of Activities and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a group.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience preferred.
• Previous activities experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
