Job summary

Complete Care at La Plata is hiring an Activities Assistant for a Full-Time Day Shift in La Plata, MD. This role requires every-other-weekend work and no on-call duties, with starting pay of $17 per hour.

You will help implement programs, monitor events, and assist in decorations, contributing to a warm, patient-centered community. We offer growth within a caring organization that values teamwork and reliability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or part of a group.
• Computer knowledge.
• Previous long term care experience is preferred.
• Prior activities experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement scheduled programs and assist residents as needed.
• Monitor resident behavior during events and communicate to nursing as needed.
• Maintain and manage activity attendance calendars.
• Assist in preparing and displaying holiday decorations throughout facility.
• Other duties as assigned by Director of Activities and Administrator.
