Job summary

Fayette Nursing and Rehab Center in Baltimore, MD, is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities for our residents. The role is part-time with a schedule on Tuesdays and Thursdays plus every other weekend, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, and pay of $15.00 per hour.

You will assist with daily activities, encourage participation, and engage residents through games, crafts, music, and social events while maintaining a friendly, safe environment.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with planning and facilitating daily activities and programs
• Encouraging residents to participate in activities and social events
• Engaging residents through games, crafts, music, conversation, and other recreational activities
• Assisting residents with participating in activities as needed
• Helping prepare and organize activity materials and supplies
• Providing friendly and positive interaction with residents
• Supporting special events, celebrations, and group activities
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming activity environment
• Communicating resident participation, preferences, and concerns to the appropriate staff

We are seeking a dependable, energetic, and compassionate Activities Assistant to help plan, coordinate, and facilitate activities and programs for our residents at Fayette Nursing and Rehab Center. As a key member of our team, you will enjoy working with older adults and be comfortable engaging residents with different interests, abilities, and needs.

Schedule:

• Tuesdays and Thursdays: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

• Every other weekend: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay: $15.00 per hour

As an Activities Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with planning and facilitating daily activities and programs

• Encouraging residents to participate in activities and social events

• Engaging residents through games, crafts, music, conversation, and other recreational activities

• Assisting residents with participating in activities as needed
