Job summary

Sprenger Health Care, a long‑standing senior living operator in Ohio and South Carolina, seeks an Activities Program staff member to lead recreation programs for residents. You will facilitate group activities, assist with transport, and promote facility programs to residents, staff, families and volunteers.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma and 2+ years in a patient activities program within health care, or a college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration,

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2+ years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting.
• OR college degree in or actively pursuing Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.
