Sprenger Health Care in Twinsburg, OH is seeking a dedicated Recreation Activities Coordinator to support resident life at GV Manor. You will facilitate group activities, assist with transportation of residents to events, and help plan engaging programs aligned with resident needs.

A High School diploma with 2+ years in patient activities in health care, or a college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or OTA, plus a valid driver’s

• High School diploma or college degree in related field; requires valid driver’s license.
• 2+ years experience in patient activities in health care, OR degree pursued in Recreation, Gerontology, NHA, Nursing, OT or OTA.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs as assigned in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.

Qualifications

High School diploma and 2 plus years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting; OR has college degree in or actively working toward a degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing Home Administration, Nursing, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant with a valid driver’s license.
