Job summary

Paycom is seeking an Activities Aide in Bonners Ferry, ID to plan and direct activity programs for residents. The role involves coordinating monthly activities, maintaining records, and ensuring residents’ rights are observed, with collaboration across nursing and support departments.

Ideal candidates will have some elderly-care experience, CPR/First Aid training, and proficiency in Outlook and Word, along with strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Assistant training preferred not required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Past experience working with the elderly preferred.
• CPR and First Aid training required upon hire.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Word; able to communicate verbally and in writing.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts.

Responsibilities

• Schedules monthly activities under supervision of the Activities Coordinator.
• Provides Activities Director with a list of needed supplies.
• Maintains accurate records of all proceedings and transactions pertaining to residents.
• Implements programs to fit individual needs.
• Interacts with Nursing, Maintenance, CNA’s, Nutritional Services, Activities Director, other aides, Environmental Services and Social Services.
• Keeps records of resident participation/response and assessments sheets.
