Brookside Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an energetic Activities Aide to join our Activities program. You will create a stimulating, engaging environment for residents and support their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

This full-time position runs 12:00–20:00, every other weekend, with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and PTO. If you are passionate about senior care and teamwork, apply today.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the elderly and/or physically challenged in a Healthcare setting is required.
• Must be creative and compassionate with prior proven experience working as an Activity Assistant.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with residents, families, and staff.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Activities Director in planning, organizing, and implementing recreational and therapeutic activities for residents, including arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and social events
• Develop and lead activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
• Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, therapy, and social services, to ensure a comprehensive approach to care
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident feedback
• Performs other duties as assigned
