You will lead daily activities, coordinate events, and adapt plans to residents’ abilities. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to support our care team and keep residents engaged.

Assist in planning, setting up, and leading daily group and one-on-one activities such as games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events
Encourage residents to participate, adapting activities to individual abilities and interests
Provide in-room visits and activities for residents unable to attend group programs
Help transport and escort residents to and from activities
Document resident participation and attendance accurately and on time
Assist with monthly activity calendars, holiday celebrations, and special programs
Communicate with nursing staff and other departments about residents' needs and changes
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized activity space and supplies
Treat all residents with dignity and respect, and follow facility policies and resident rights
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience working with seniors in long-term care, assisted living, or a similar setting preferred, but not required
Warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to lead groups and engage residents with varying physical and cognitive abilities
Ability to stand, walk, and assist with transporting residents throughout the shift
Flexibility to work some evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
