Job summary

Essex Center for Rehabilitation and Healthcare is seeking an energetic Recreation Aide for our Skilled Nursing Facility in Elizabethtown, New York. You will implement activities programs tailored to residents' individual interests and support daily engagement.

The role requires a positive attitude, experience in healthcare recreation or college recreation therapy, and good computer skills. Some weekend work is included, with dementia experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude and energy required.

• Geriatric population experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills required.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Strong organizational and planning skills; multitasking ability.
• Some weekends required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Positive attitude and energy is a must!
• Experience with activities in a healthcare settings or college work in recreation therapy
• Previous experience with Geriatric population preferred
• Strong computer skills necessary
• Ability to work effectively as a team member
• Strong organizational & planning skills; ability to multi-task
• Some weekends required
• Dementia experience preferred
