Job summary

Rochester Center in New York is seeking a part-time PT Recreation Aide for our Skilled Nursing Facility. You will implement activities programs for Residents, focusing on individual interests, and work directly with Residents on units with minimal supervision.

Ideal candidates have experience with activities in healthcare settings or recreation therapy coursework, plus strong computer skills and the ability to work well in a team. Some weekends are required, and dementia experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with activities in healthcare settings or college recreation work.
• Previous experience with geriatric population preferred.
• Strong computer skills are necessary.
• Ability to work effectively as a team member.
• Strong organizational and planning skills; ability to multi-task.
