Job summary

Greene Meadows Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking an Activities Aide to plan and deliver engaging resident programs from 12pm to 8pm. You will help with daily activities, promote socialization, and work with the team to create meaningful experiences for adults with diverse needs.

You will collaborate with staff to implement new activities, maintain resident participation records, and support a positive, respectful community within the facility.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in activities, recreation, or a related field preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities, including crafts, games, outings, and entertainment programs, to cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents
• Assist with daily living activities, such as mealtime assistance, grooming, and mobility assistance, as needed
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and participation
• Collaborate with the activities team to develop and implement new programs, ensuring they align with our residents' preferences and needs
• Promote a positive and respectful environment, encouraging socialization and community building among residents
