Job summary

Moose Lake Village in Moose Lake, MN is seeking an outgoing Activities Aide to plan and conduct recreational programs for residents. This part-time role includes every other weekend, with daytime shifts from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM and a wage range of $19.09–$19.97 per hour depending on experience.

You will display courtesy to residents and families, assist with small and large group activities, and maintain participation records while growing in a supportive, training-focused healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
• Good communication skills, including ability to give directions clearly.
• Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude promoting activities.

Responsibilities

• Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Assist with planning and implementing small and large group programs and one-to-one visits.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff in carrying out therapeutic programs for groups and individuals
• Maintain records of each resident's participation in activities and programs.
• Transport residents to and from activities
• Participate in department meetings and staff training.
• Function as a team member with other staff in the performance of duties.
