Job summary

Moose Lake Village is seeking an outgoing and energetic Activities Aide to join our team. This entry-level role offers training in a compassionate healthcare setting, with opportunities to learn and grow as you plan and run engaging activities for residents.

Shifts are part-time, every other weekend, 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM. We provide a supportive, team-oriented environment and competitive benefits through Cassia.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
• Good communication skills, including ability to give directions to others in a pleasant and easily understood manner.
• Ability to display enthusiasm and a positive attitude in promoting activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and conduct recreational activities for residents.
• Interact with residents, families, and staff during programs.
• Transport residents to and from activities and maintain records of participation.
• Participate in department meetings and staff training; work as part of a team.

In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting recreational activities for our residents. Ideal candidates are creative, highly motivated, and have strong communication skills.

Position Type:

Part-Timeincluding every other weekend.

Shifts Available:Days

10:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Wage Range:

$19.09 - $19.97 / hour depending on experience

Activities Aide Responsibilities:

• Displayan attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
• Assistwith planning and implementing small and large group programs and one-to-one visits.
• Interactwith residents, families, and staff in carrying out therapeutic programs for groups and individuals
• Maintainrecords of each resident's participation in activities and programs.
• Transportresidents to and from activities
• Participatein department meetings and staff training.
• Functionas a team member with other staff in the performance of duties.
