Job summary

Bedrock Care in Milton, AL is seeking an energetic Activities Aide to plan and lead engaging programs that keep residents active, social, and inspired. You will facilitate group activities, help with one-on-one visits, and assist the Activities Director with decorating for holidays.

The ideal candidate brings a warm, empathetic personality, enjoys crafts and games, and can adapt activities for varying abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead group activities such as arts and crafts, bingo, fitness classes, music, and trivia.
• Spend time with residents individually, reading to them or conversing.
• Assist the Activities Director in brainstorming ideas and decorating for holidays and themed parties.
• Keep simple logs of resident participation to track social engagement.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the Fun: Facitate group activities such as arts and crafts, bingo, fitness classes, music, and trivia.

• One-on-One Connection: Spend quality time with residents who prefer individual visits, reading to them or simply sharing a conversation.

• Plan & Promote: Assist the Activities Director in brainstorming new event ideas and decorating the facility for holidays and themed parties.

• Documentation: Keep simple logs of resident participation to ensure everyone is staying socially engaged.
