Job summary

Avenue at Macedonia in Ohio is seeking compassionate Activities Aide to join our team. You will assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational and social activities that enhance residents' quality of life and foster meaningful relationships with those we serve.

Available shifts include Day, Evening, and Weekend rotations. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, with experience in long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily resident activities, events, and entertainment programs.
• Encourage resident participation in group and individual activities.
• Transport residents to and from activities as needed.
• Help decorate and prepare for holidays, special events, and community celebrations.
• Document resident attendance and participation.
• Maintain activity supplies and equipment.
• Provide companionship and promote a positive environment for residents.
• Support the Activity Director in implementing engaging programs.
