Job summary

Cheer Home Care in La Jolla, CA is actively hiring in-home caregivers to provide compassionate, non-medical support for seniors and disabled clients. Pay is $23–$27 per hour with flexible full-time or part-time shifts Mon-Fri, 7am–8pm. Join a team focused on joy, dignity, and client well-being.

As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you’ll deliver companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation, with training and ongoing support from our office team available 24/7.

Qualifications

• Non-medical home care experience preferred.

• Must be reliable with strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing and grooming.
• Provide transportation to medical appointments.
• Deliver dementia care, Alzheimer's care, Parkinson's care, and hospice support as needed.
• Offer hourly in-home care and companionship.
• Perform light housekeeping and homemaking tasks.

As a Cheer Home Care Aide, you will provide compassionate non-medical home care services to the elderly and disabled. Your main focus will be on providing companionship, personal care, homemaking, and transportation services, all designed to help our clients maintain a comfortable and fulfilling life at home.

Your vibrant personality and exceptional skills will make a positive difference in the lives of seniors and adults with disabilities. On a typical day, your responsibilities may include:

• Personal care with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, toileting, personal hygiene assistance, and light meal prep.
• Transportation services to clients for medical appointments.
• Dementia Care, Alzheimer's Care, Parkinson's Care, Hospice Care and more.
• Hourly Care
• Light housekeeping and organization.

• Assisting with activities of daily living and dementia care
• Able to provide mobility assistance, transfers, and physical support (up to 100–150 lbs)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Certifications preferred but NOT required: CNA, HHA, CPR, First Aid, AED
• Reliable transportation to drive client in their vehicle (mileage reimbursement included)
• Must have a smartphone with internet access

Cheer Offers:
