Job summary

YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking an AOA program instructor to lead Active Older Adults activities and supervise branch programming. You will promote member satisfaction, support events, and help grow participation while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining rosters, coordinating with leadership, and ensuring welcoming, respectful interaction with all participants. CPR/First Aid within 30 days is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification due within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with computers and cell phones; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute AOA activities on time with proper materials and attire.
• Market and organize AOA events with YMCA leadership.
• Provide support for AOA programming/events as needed.
• Manage AOA program rosters and balances.
• Maintain a positive rapport with participants.
• Ensure safety and cleanliness; eliminate hazards in areas.
