YMCA of Greater Cleveland is seeking a program instructor to provide age-appropriate programs, implement detailed activity plans, and supervise activities in the program areas. The role emphasizes keeping spaces clean, recognizing hazards, and adhering to the Child Abuse Prevention Plan while modeling positive relationship-building with participants.

Candidates should bring youth programming experience, CPR/First Aid within 30 days of hire, and the ability to work with diverse groups.

Competenze

• Minimum of one year's experience in programming/youth oriented programming.
• CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training required within 30 days of hire.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
• Demonstrated strong customer service skills and effective communication.

• Plan all activities in advance, be prepared to be on time, with proper material, equipment, and in proper attire.
• Incorporate YMCA Character Development values into each lesson.
• Maintain class/participant attendance and student skill accomplishment records.
