Job summary

YMCA is seeking an AOA program instructor to lead and support the Active Older Adults program and branch activities. You will engage members, promote satisfaction, and assist with program planning and safe execution.

This role emphasizes community, safety, and positive interactions in alignment with YMCA values. Qualifications include a HS diploma or GED, CPR/First Aid within 30 days, and the ability to work in a dynamic, culturally inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification and Safety training required within 30 days of hire.
• Adhere to Blood borne Pathogen standards and annual training.

Responsibilities

• Execute AOA activities on time with proper materials and attire.
• Market and organize AOA events with YMCA leadership.
• Support AOA programming/events under guidance of AOA Coordinator.
• Manage AOA program rosters and balances.
• Maintain a clean program area and remove hazards.
