Job summary

Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Moving/Delivery Helper in Alexandria, VA to assist drivers with loading/unloading furniture and equipment, secure items for transport, and support relocations in a fast-paced setting with an as-needed schedule.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy items throughout the shift.
• Strong teamwork and communication to follow directions and complete deliveries.
• Dependability and flexibility to work on an as-needed basis.
• Attention to detail to ensure items are handled and delivered carefully.
• Previous moving, delivery, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist drivers with loading and unloading furniture, equipment, and other items for delivery or relocation.
• Secure items in trucks to ensure safe transport during transit.
• Follow directions from drivers and supervisors to complete deliveries efficiently and on time.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including trucks and staging areas.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and properly use personal protective equipment.
