Description:

As a Delivery Helper for APC, you would follow standard company procedures and safety requirements while delivering packages in a timely and efficient manner. The Delivery Helper role is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and carrying of big/bulky packages as part of a two-man team. Under tight deadlines, our delivery helpers deliver/assemble orders to customers according to established procedures, in all weather conditions.

Compensation and Schedule:

This is a four-day-per-week delivery job, working as an employee and earning $15-$17/hour. Once you're fully acclimated to the job and capable of consistently completing your routes within the planned on-road time, a fifth day may become available, increasing your weekly earning potential! Days are designed to be 10.5 hours long, including a 30-minute lunch break and two 15-minute paid breaks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Under tight appointment window deadlines, deliver and assemble products to customers residences.
• Operates within smartphone applications to document proof of delivery and photo on delivery requirements
• Maintains good work habits, including reporting to work on time and adhering to standard work and safety procedures
• Account for, and adapt to, unexpected situations like weather conditions and traffic.
• Maintain the truck and associated equipment in good, working order; report all mechanical problems to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all applicable traffic laws and safety procedures.
• Observe and report all defects, accidents, and violations.
• Adhere to company guidelines while interacting with customers and serve as brand advocate.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to seventy 75 lbs and team lift > 75 lbs.
• Must be able to walk, climb stairs, reach overhead, squat, bend, kneel, stoop and crouch repeatedly
