Merrill Gardens Campbell seeks an Active Living Program Director to organize a diversified activity program enriching residents’ cultural, social, physical, and intellectual needs. You will develop engaging activities, coordinate resident preferences, and foster community partnerships.

A strong passion for seniors and creativity is essential. Common duties include planning events, mentoring staff, budgeting for activity supplies, and ensuring safety during outings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma is required.
• A college degree or equivalent is preferred.
• Three years of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in senior living or activity programs.

Responsibilities

• Develop activities: plan and participate in social events to create an active community life for residents.
• Coordinate resident programming by assessing preferences and needs through orientation and feedback.
• Engage residents, families, and the community in activities and volunteer opportunities to promote socialization and activity.
