Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Active Directory Administrator to administer, develop, test, implement, and maintain directory services and PKI for the organization. The role covers full lifecycle from design to security hardening and post‑project support, with focus on AD forest, sites, DCs, DNS, and STIG compliance.

The position requires a DoD Secret Clearance and hands-on experience with AD, PKI, and Windows Server security.

Qualifications

• DoD Secret Clearance required.
• Experience in Active Directory, PKI, and system hardening.
• Minimum education as listed: BS/BA preferred; other degrees acceptable per policy.

Responsibilities

• Back up, monitor, and recover data systems; perform upgrades and transitions to production.
• Troubleshoot intricate OS, software, and network issues; support users.
• Manage Directory Services and PKI implementations, including AD forest schema and DC/DNS setup.
• Apply STIGs and security hardening on Windows Server OS, AD, DNS.
• Plan, document, and implement Directory Services infrastructure and deployment.
• Provide high‑level support and guidance to junior admins; ensure production readiness.
