Job summary

General Dynamics - IT seeks a Directory Services System Administrator to manage Active Directory and hybrid authentication, delivering reliable identity and access services for critical missions from an onsite DC facility.

You will use PowerShell and security best practices, participate in tool evaluations, and collaborate with internal teams; Top Secret/SCI eligibility and DoD 8140 IAT II compliance required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Active Directory services architecture and management, Group Policy management, domain controller management, security configurations, AD Schema, PowerShell and PKI.
• Understanding of system security, authentication protocols, and access control methodologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure/AWS Admin, Azure/AWS Security, Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, MCSE).

Responsibilities

• Proven ability in managing, monitoring, maintaining, troubleshooting, and updating Active Directory services and hybrid authentication systems.
• Provide support in managing identity, access, authentication, and centralized resource management systems and platforms.
• Resolve technical issues, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of directory services under guidance or as part of a team.
• Utilize automation and orchestration tools for streamlined maintenance and monitoring of directory services systems.
• Assist in evaluating and implementing new tools and technologies to enhance the directory services environment.
