Hy-Vee is seeking Courtesy Clerks to support customers and keep the store welcoming. You’ll greet shoppers, package purchases, and assist in multiple store areas, including stocking, cleaning, and operating front end functions.

Training is provided, and employees are expected to be active and helpful throughout shifts. This role emphasizes strong customer service, ability to follow directions, and teamwork.

• Follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Perform simple addition and subtraction, copy figures, and count and record accurately.
• Understand and follow verbal or demonstrated directions and communicate supply needs orally or in writing.
• Work effectively as part of a team to keep the store clean and customers happy.

Mansioni

• Greet customers with a smile and assist them in finding products.
• Package customer purchases and help transport items to their vehicle.
• Pull carts from parking lot and maintain cart corrals.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, and backroom; sweep and mop floors as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shelves and stock.
• Check prices and ensure shelf tags are correct.
• Ensure front end supplies like bags and receipt paper are stocked.
• Help train new courtesy clerks.
• Deliver products to customers and assist in other departments as needed.
• Shovel, salt, and sand walkways as required.
• Collaborate with coworkers to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Be flexible to take on special projects and additional duties.
