Hy-Vee in Altoona, IA is seeking a Courtesy Clerk to support customers, keep the store clean, stocked, and welcoming. You will assist with bagging, customer assistance, and aisle maintenance in a fast-paced retail environment.

This role requires no formal education or experience; comprehensive on-the-job training is provided. You will be active on the floor, stand/walk frequently, and help in multiple store areas as needed.

Qualifications

• No education or experience requirements; we provide training.
• Frequent standing and walking during shifts.
• Ability to safely use basic cleaning equipment and follow safety guidelines.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers with a smile and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Package purchases and assist in transporting to vehicle.
• Bring carts from the parking lot and manage cart corrals.
• Clean registers, restrooms, break room, backroom; sweep and mop floors.
• Stock, face, rotate merchandise; know shelf locations.
• Pull product forward to keep shelves full.
• Check prices on products as needed.
• Maintain front end supplies (bags, receipt paper).
• Help train new courtesy clerks.
• Deliver products to customers and assist in all departments as needed.
• Shovel, salt, and sand walkways as needed.
• Work with coworkers as part of a team to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Assist in other areas and take on special projects.
