Job summary

The City of Peoria seeks to hire a Community Center Aide in the Neighborhood and Human Services Department to lead activities within the Active Adult Program. Activities include, but are not limited to special events, enrichment classes, and outings within the community.

Ideal candidates will possess general computer skills, and will be able to assist with administrative tasks in a multi-generational community center. Pay range is $16.73-$20.92 based on experience.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirement.
• No previous related experience required.
• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must complete all required City training courses within six months.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities within the Active Adult Program, including special events, enrichment classes, and community outings.
• Assist with administrative tasks and general computer use in a multi-generational community center.
