Job summary

Mphasis in Woodbridge Township, NJ, seeks a senior Java engineer to design, build, and upgrade NICE Actimize ActOne/RCM plug-ins. You will implement AML/FinCEN workflows, including SAR/CTR/STR, and optimize sanctions screening within the Actimize environment.

You will develop scalable Java applications, write complex SQL, and apply cloud-native patterns in distributed systems. Collaboration across Agile teams and support for CI/CD and testing are expected.

Qualifications

• Strong background in software engineering with applicable work or education.
• Experience building Java plug-ins for NICE Actimize and ActOne/RCM.
• Experience upgrading ActOne platform modules and configurations.
• Familiarity with FinCEN filing processes (SAR/CTR/STR).
• Proficient SQL skills across Oracle/SQL Server/MongoDB-like databases.
• Knowledge of 12-factor and cloud-native design principles on AWS/Azure/PCF.
• Experience with automated testing (JUnit/TestNG/Selenium) and CI/CD tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance solutions within the NICE Actimize Case Management platform (ActOne / RCM).
• Build, maintain, and upgrade ActOne/RCM Java plug-ins, ensuring performance, scalability, and adherence to platform standards.
• Lead and support ActOne upgrade initiatives across platform modules and custom configurations.
• Implement and configure Actimize solutions to support FinCEN filing requirements, including Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR), Currency Transaction Reports (CTR), and Suspicious Transaction Reports (STR).
• Build, maintain, and optimize Sanctions screening capabilities within the Actimize environment to support AML and compliance workflows.
• Develop high-quality Java applications with a solid understanding of the Java memory model.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries and work across multiple database platforms.
• Implement cloud-native and 12-factor application patterns in distributed systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality software.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps workflows.
• Work with event-streaming technologies such as Kafka to build scalable integrations.
