Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on Java application development.

• REST APIs, web services and system integrations experience.

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with Actimize expertise to join our application development team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in Java development and NICE Actimize, with a focus on designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating Actimize-based applications and solutions.

This role is primarily focused on application development and engineering, rather than production support, incident management, or operational activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications integrated with Actimize platforms.
• Develop and customize NICE Actimize solutions based on business and functional requirements.
• Work on application development, coding, configuration, integration, testing, and deployment activities.
• Develop robust and scalable solutions using Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, and related technologies.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs and web services with Actimize and other enterprise applications.
• Work with Actimize modules and frameworks to implement financial crime, AML, fraud detection, and transaction monitoring capabilities.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and application solutions.
• Perform code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance tuning.
• Troubleshoot application-level issues during development and testing and provide permanent technical solutions.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other development teams.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, development, and release activities.
• Contribute to CI/CD and automated deployment processes where applicable.
• Prepare technical documentation related to application design, development, integrations, and deployments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of hands‑on experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Java/J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Hands‑on experience with NICE Actimize in an application development environment.
• Strong understanding of Actimize application development, customization, configuration, and integrations.
• Experience working with AML, transaction monitoring, fraud detection, or financial crime applications is highly preferred.
• Strong experience with REST APIs, web services, and system integrations.
• Experience with relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong SQL development and database integration skills.
• Experience with application development lifecycle, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD tools.
• Good understanding of Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Actimize SAM, IFM, AIS, or related Actimize modules.
• Experience developing or customizing Actimize solutions for AML/KYC/Fraud use cases.
• Experience integrating Actimize with enterprise applications and external data sources.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
• Financial services or banking domain experience is preferred.
