Job summary

OhioGuidestone is seeking a Clinical Therapist for the ACT Program in the Cuyahoga area. The counselor will provide individual, family and group counseling, develop treatment plans, and respond to crises in collaboration with community partners.

Requirements include LSW/LPC/LMFT license and a Bachelor’s degree, with 2+ years of experience preferred. Competitive benefits, licensure supervision, and flexible schedules are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from accredited program or higher.
• LSW, LPC, or LMFT license and related educational requirement.
• Two years experience working with adults, youth and families preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family and group counseling and psychotherapy to assigned caseload.
• Complete documented evidence-based Treatment Plan after the first encounter with client.
• Develop and maintain a therapeutic relationship with client, family, and caregivers.
• Respond to mental health emergencies in a culturally responsive manner.
• Identify appropriate interventions for clients in crisis and coordinate resources.
• Provide CPST, SUD Targeted Case Management and TBS as needed.
• Coordinate referrals and advocate for clients.
• Participate in treatment conferences and supervision.
• Maintain timely documentation and licensing.
