Prince William County Government seeks a Therapist III supervisor to lead an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team delivering supervision, therapy, and case management in community settings for adults with serious mental illness. The position requires a Master’s degree, an unrestricted LPC or LCSW in Virginia, and at least three years of outpatient mental health experience.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related behavioral science field.
• Unrestricted LPC or LCSW license in Virginia.
• 3 years of experience in mental health outpatient services.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ACT eligibility screenings and manage waitlists.
• Provide clinical supervision to ACT staff and oversee daily clinical work.
• Deliver intensive mental health therapy to adults and provide case management.
• Collaborate with housing providers, probation officers, and other agencies to coordinate care.
• Complete clinical documentation to licensing standards and manage client records.
• Plan in-service training for ACT staff and supervise subordinates.
