Job summary

People Encouraging People seeks an experienced leader to oversee Assertive Community Treatment Team Services, providing advocacy, service coordination, counseling, and resource procurement for clients within the program.

The role focuses on hiring, supervising, and training ACT personnel, managing evaluation and budgeting for ACT programs, and ensuring high fidelity and quality of care consistent with regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in relevant field and at least three years experience with adults who have chronic mental illness.
• Maryland licensure in a mental health profession is required.
• Two years of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Hire, supervise, and train staff; conduct evaluations and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Direct daily clinical operations, including scheduling and adherence to agency policies; lead meetings and ensure client needs are met.
• Coordinate admission and discharge processes; assign cases; oversee referrals, intake and orientation.
