Job summary

Montefiore Mount Vernon Hospital is seeking an ACT Team Manager to oversee the ACT program's operations and provide clinical and administrative leadership to a multidisciplinary team, ensuring high-quality services for clients.

You will direct daily clinical operations, manage staff schedules, coordinate admissions and treatment planning, and lead staff recruitment and supervision while building community linkages with housing programs and social services.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a behavioral health field or related area.
• Valid NYS LMSW or LCSW licensure.
• Minimum of three years of experience in a related role.
• ACT Core Training through CPI within six months of hire.
• Knowledge of behavioral health diagnoses and substance use disorders.
• Familiarity with Motivational Interviewing and integrated treatment approaches.

Responsibilities

• Direct day-to-day clinical operations of the ACT team including scheduling staff work hours, delegating tasks, leading daily staff meetings, and coordinating treatment planning.
• Direct and coordinate client admissions, treatment engagement, rehabilitation and support services in collaboration with the psychiatrist.
• Participate in staff recruitment, interviewing, hiring, orientation and performance according to program rules, regulations, policies and collective bargaining agreements.
• Provide supervision and guidance to staff in the delivery of services.
• Establish and maintain relationships with social support agencies, housing programs, employers and landlords, and state/county agencies; coordinate community linkage.
• Ensure all regulatory reporting and data collection requirements are met for stakeholders.
