Job summary

Kaplan is seeking an ACT instructor to commute to Aurora, IL to deliver ACT prep programs in a high school setting. Classes run August through January, with 2–3 sessions weekly, plus potential virtual tutoring throughout the year.

You will receive paid training, collaborate with stakeholders, and use curriculum-driven methods to help students excel. The role offers a part-time schedule and competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum ten-month commitment to the role.
• Daytime, weekday availability August through January.
• Minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Scores within the 90th percentile of the ACT.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Teach ACT onsite in an engaging classroom environment.
• Prepare students for exams using curated curriculum.
• Use data to close opportunity gaps for underrepresented students.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on content.
• Offer remote tutoring opportunities and training participation.
