Job summary

Kaplan is seeking an ACT instructor to commute to Aurora, IL to deliver ACT prep programs in a high school setting. Classes run August through January, with 2–3 sessions weekly, plus potential virtual tutoring throughout the year.

You will receive paid training, collaborate with stakeholders, and use curriculum-driven methods to help students excel. The role offers a part-time schedule and competitive hourly rates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Minimum ten-month commitment to the role.
• Daytime, weekday availability August through January.
• Minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Scores within the 90th percentile of the ACT.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Job DescriptionKaplan is hiring ACT instructors willing to commute to Aurora, IL to deliver innovative interventions and prep programs that help students advance their education to realize their potential.In this role you will teach ACT students onsite in an engaging classroom environment. Teaching will take place at a local Aurora high school during school hours, with classes running from August-January and typically 2-3 times a week. Teachers may also have the opportunity to teach and tutor college-bound students in a virtual setting throughout the year.
